SPECIAL SESSIONS

Metaverse in Education: Opportunities, Challenges and Future Perspectives

The Metaverse refers to a virtual space where users can interact with a computer-generated environment and other users in real-time. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we teach and learn, and I believe that a special session on this topic would be of great interest to educators and researchers alike.

This session will provide a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share their experiences, insights, and innovations related to the use of the Metaverse in education. The topics that will be covered in this session include, but are not limited to:

  • The design and implementation of educational experiences in the Metaverse.
  • The potential of the Metaverse to enhance student engagement and motivation.
  • The use of the Metaverse to promote collaboration and teamwork among students.
  • The integration of the Metaverse with existing educational technologies and platforms.
  • The ethical considerations and challenges of using the Metaverse in education.
  • Using the Metaverse as s tool for blended learning, eLearning, and online education.
  • Immersive experience for education.
  • Gamification for learning.
  • Personalized learning using the Metaverse.

We invite researchers, educators, and practitioners to submit original research papers, case studies, and innovative practices on the use of the Metaverse in education. We also welcome interdisciplinary papers that explore the intersection of the Metaverse with other fields, such as business, psychology, sociology, and computer science. We believe that this special session will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest research and innovations in the use of the Metaverse in education. We are confident that this session will attract a diverse range of participants, and we look forward to a lively and engaging discussion.
